AJD Regeneration

Coventry Peace Orchard – Community Information Evening

When: Thursday 17th May 6.00-7.30 p.m.,

Where: Pope Francis Hall, Cardinal Newman School, Sandpits Lane CV6 2FR

Now that the Orchard has been planted, we need your ideas about what information to put online and on site. How would you like information presented about Coventry’s role as the city of Peace and Reconciliation, the 1944 Normandy Campaign, how to manage an apple orchard, how and when to collect the apples and how to make use of them? How would you like to use the site? Should there be memorial plaques. Should children who helped plant the trees be named on site. Should there be a trail round the site and a ‘Friends of’ group? Come and help us decide.
